During the transportation and movement of the air filter, it should be handled with care, and severe collisions and vibrations are not allowed.

Special attention should also be paid to the installation of the high-efficiency filter. The installation direction cannot be wrong, and the connection between the filter and the frame must not have leakage, deformation, damage, or glue leakage. After the filter is installed, the inner wall must be cleaned.

Carefully observe the filter, wipe the filter with a white silk cloth, and check for leaks.

Before installing the high-efficiency filter, clean the interior of the room where the equipment is located, as well as the place where the equipment is installed, to ensure that the indoor environment will not affect the high-efficiency filter.

In the process of transportation and storage, high-efficiency filters must be strictly implemented in accordance with the standards.

Unpacking the high-efficiency filter must be done on-site. Before unpacking, check whether the package is damaged. After unpacking, check the filter to see if the appearance is damaged. Measure the side length of the filter, whether the diagonal line meets the requirements, whether the outer frame is rusted, and whether the product qualification certificate and technical parameters are correct.

For high-efficiency filters above 100 grades, the "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Clean Rooms" must be strictly implemented for leak detection of high-efficiency filters.

When installing the filter, the direction of the arrow should be consistent with the direction of the airflow. If it is installed vertically, the creases of the filter paper should be vertical to the ground.

For primary effect flat and folded filters, it should be noted that the galvanized mesh should be in the direction of the back of the air outlet; the installation direction of the bag filter should make the length of the filter bag vertical to the ground, not parallel to the ground.

Primary and medium-efficiency air filters usually need to be replaced after about 2 months of use. The replaced filter material can be washed in water with detergent, dried, and reused. It should be noted that it must be replaced after rinsing twice, and it should be dried naturally instead of placed in the sun.

The bag filter can be used for 3-4 months if it is operated for an average of 8 hours a day, and the sub-high efficiency filter can be used for about 6 months under normal use conditions.

It is recommended to install a differential pressure gauge in front of the filter so that you can know the working status of the filter at any time. If the differential pressure of the coarse-effect filter exceeds 250pa, it must be replaced immediately. The pressure difference of the medium-efficiency filter cannot exceed 330pa, and the pressure difference of the sub-high-efficiency filter cannot exceed 400pa. For medium-efficiency and sub-high-efficiency filters, they cannot be reused.

If the primary effect of the high-efficiency filter is damaged, it needs to be replaced. When the pressure difference exceeds 450pa and the airflow velocity on the air outlet surface drops to the minimum, the primary and medium effect filters can be replaced first; if there is no change, the high-efficiency filter needs to be replaced. If these conditions do not appear, replace the high-efficiency filter within 1-2 years.

To replace the filter, the primary and medium-efficiency filters can be replaced without stopping the fan; while the high-efficiency filter must first stop the fan before it can be replaced. During the use of primary and medium effect filters, it is best to keep the wind speed below 2.5m/s, and the wind speed of sub-high efficiency filters should not exceed 1.5m/s.

After the filter is installed, it must be ensured that the connection to the frame is airtight.

It is necessary to determine which filter to use according to the on-site environment, such as high humidity and high-temperature environments, use high temperature and high humidity resistant filters.

For biological clean rooms and medical clean rooms, filters with stainless steel or aluminum alloy frames should be used instead of filters with wooden frame plates.

As a high-precision technological product, the air filter is easily damaged during transportation and installation, so every step of the transportation and installation of the air filter must be done in accordance with strict requirements.

After the air filter has been used for a period of time, the efficiency and resistance will decrease due to the excessive collection of dust. If the air supply effect is far from meeting the requirements, the air filter should be replaced in time.
