The bag filter is a pressure-type filter device, which mainly consists of a filter cylinder body, a filter cylinder cover, a quick-opening mechanism, a stainless steel filter bag reinforcement mesh, and other main components. The filtrate flows into the filter bag from the side inlet pipe of the filter housing. The filter bag itself is installed in the reinforced mesh basket, and the liquid can obtain qualified filtrate by infiltrating the filter bag of the required fineness grade, and the impurity particles are intercepted by the filter bag. The machine is very convenient to replace the filter bag, and there is basically no material consumption for filtration.

The main advantages of bag filter:

Bag filters mainly have the following categories:

Single bag filter, multi-bag filter, rocker bag filter, high-precision bag filter, etc. The filtration accuracy is in the range of 0.3-600 microns according to different filter bag materials. Multi-bag filter, suitable for large flow filtration. From 2 bags to 24 bags, the specifications are complete, the diameter of the inlet and outlet flanges is φ40-450MM, and the maximum flow rate of a single machine is 90-1000m3/h. Quick-opening design is available, and filter bag replacement is very convenient. It is also suitable for occasions where you want to replace the filter bag after a long period of use. The multi-bag filter is difficult to operate by one worker due to its large volume and heavy top cover. Adding a rocker device to this filter can reduce labor costs and meet customer requirements. 

Bag filter operation and precautions:

The bag filter is simple to operate. When using, just install the filter bag of the required fineness grade in the filter cartridge, check whether the O-ring seal is in good condition, and then tighten the ring bolt of the filter cartridge cover, and then it can be put into work. After the pump is started, the pressure gauge on the filter rises slightly, and the initial pressure is about 0.05MPa. With the prolongation of the use time, the filter residue in the cylinder gradually increases. When the pressure reaches 0.4MPa, the cylinder cover should be stopped and opened to check the residue left in the filter bag. , the filter bag can be replaced and continued to use (the filter bag can generally be reused by cleaning). The filter pressure is generally adjusted to 0.1-0.3MPa. It can be adjusted through the return line or the return valve on the pump. If the filter pressure is too high, the filter bag and the protection net will be damaged, so special attention should be paid.

The replacement steps of the bag filter bag:

The first step is to close the water inlet valve, open the exhaust valve, and let the pressure in the filter drop to normal pressure;

In the second step, open the four sets of eye bolts on the top cover and open the top cover;

The third step is to open the retaining ring that fixes the filter bag, lift out the blocked filter bag, and replace it with a new filter bag;

In the fourth step, close the top cover, and lock the four sets of eye bolts;

In the fifth step, open the water inlet valve and close the exhaust valve when there is liquid flowing out of the exhaust valve.

Maintenance of bag filters:

1. Always check whether the connecting pipes of the bag filter are firm and whether there is leakage or damage.

2. Do not open the cover under pressure in the bag filter, otherwise, the remaining liquid may be sprayed out, resulting in liquid loss and personal injury.

3. Check whether the inlet and outlet valves of the bag filter are tightly closed, and check the pressure gauge to make sure that the internal pressure is 0. At this time, the bag filter should be separated from the pipeline system. Open the emptying valve, wait until the remaining liquid in the bag filter is exhausted through the emptying valve, and then open the cover.

4. Open the filter upper cover of the bag filter correctly, unscrew the upper cover cap, lift the upper cover, and turn it at a certain angle.

5. Check the O-shaped sealing ring and the O-shaped groove on the filter: If the O-shaped sealing ring is deformed, scratched, or cracked, or there is a problem with the joint of the O-shaped sealing ring, new accessories should be replaced.

6. When replacing the filter bag: If you use a sewn filter bag, please fold the sewn edge of the filter bag and put it in, which can improve the filtering effect of the sewn filter bag. Position the filter bag so that the ring mouth of the filter bag matches the neckline of the inner metal mesh.

7. Hold the handle of the upper cover with one hand and the other end of the upper cover with the other hand, align the upper cover with the mouth of the bag filter, put it down slowly, and naturally press it on the O-shaped sealing ring and the ring mouth of the filter bag, and tighten it evenly and forcefully. Cap bolts.
