How much do you know about titanium rod filters

A titanium rod filter is made of a titanium powder sintered filter element, generally used for coarse or intermediate filtration. This filter element has the advantages of high precision, high temperature, corrosion resistance, and high mechanical strength, and is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry. Titanium rod filter cleaning method:

After the titanium rod filter element is used for a period of time, it will be blocked to a certain extent, the flow rate will decrease, and the pressure at the front end of the filter will increase. There are the following:

1 For the newly used filter element, generally use the method of clean water backflushing and gas backflushing to clean, that is, use clean water slightly larger than the working pressure (eg, 0.3mPa) to flush the water in the opposite direction. The recoil time is about 1 to 3 minutes.

2 When the filtration effect does not rebound significantly after multiple backwashing, it can be soaked in a hydrochloric acid solution below 5%, a sulfuric acid solution below 8%, or a NaOH solution below 10% at room temperature, and then rinsed with water.

The specific choice to use acid washing or alkali washing should be selected according to the impurity in the filtrate being easily soluble in acid or alkali.

Precautions for the use of titanium rod filters:

1 Avoid scratches, collisions, dust, and oil.

2 Its working pressure should not exceed the rated working pressure during use.

3 In normal use, there is at least 3-5 minutes of low-pressure start-up time, and the relative pressure difference should be controlled below 0.5Mpa, and then gradually adjust the working pressure to the normal requirement (the maximum pressure does not exceed 0.4Mpa).

4 After a certain period of operation, the pressure may increase and the flow rate may decrease due to the blockage of the filter element, which requires backflushing or backwashing regeneration. The regeneration cycle depends on rated pressure and flow
